Today, we are delighted to share the beautiful wedding of Rachel and Ben captured by www.markpugh.com.
Mark Pugh is based in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir in the heart of rural England, Leicestershire, and it is always a treat when he is commissioned to capture a 'local' wedding.
THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING
Rachel and Ben were married in the grand St.Mary's Church in Bottesford. The church houses incredible stone monuments and some of the Earls and Dukes of Rutland are buried there.
Mark joined bride Rachel for her bridal preparations in one of the suites at The Chequers at Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir. The preparations were calm and collected and after photographing all of the detail, he headed to St. Mary's Church in Bottesford.
Before long, Rachel's Rolls Royce arrived and their beautiful ceremony got underway, complete with a full choir.
There was time for a few photographs in the extensive grounds of the church before heading back to the Chequers for their wedding reception. The gardens provided the perfect location for drinks and photographs before everyone adjourned into the function area for the wedding breakfast and speeches. With the cake cut, the time had come for the first dance before everyone danced the night away.
Rachel and Ben are a fantastic couple, and it was lovely for www.markpugh.com to have been able to capture their wedding.
We wish them every happiness for the future, and we hope you enjoy viewing 130 plus firstLOOK wedding image previews.
Their final wedding photography collection will contain over 400 plus images, and we will share additional image previews soon.
As always, enjoy.

ABOUT THEIR WEDDING VENUE CHEQUERS AT WOOLSTHORPE-BY-BELVOIR
Imagine the quintessential English inn. What do you see? An idyllic rural setting? A cricket pitch in the grounds? A wide selection of fine ales and exquisite food? A roaring log fire and cosy atmosphere?
The Chequers at Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir has all of these, and more, and is the perfect place to unwind with friends and enjoy a drink.
With its four bedrooms, it is the perfect base to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Vale of Belvoir, or to end the day after visiting Belvoir Castle which can be seen from the grounds.
A word of advice: The pub gets very busy in summertime, so it is important to book well in advance if you would like to stay or eat the award winning cuisine.
There is a sizable beer garden and a large dining area for weddings and larger functions. Despite all of this space, The Chequers always feels cosy, warm and intimate, and it is for this reason it is on our list of highly recommended places to visit and stay in the Vale of Belvoir.
